Similar cars tried: there's no car similar to Colt Version R
Fuel consumption: 12-13 km/litre
Drive pattern: normal everyday driving with a mixture of urban and highway. can do better if travel more on Highway due to it's 6 Speed CVT gearbox that holds at 2000rpm @ 100km/h.

Strengths

Evo Style bonnet, powerful, 1.5L turbo charged, cheaper road tax, rare, slight mods to 200HP and good fuel consumption for a turbo car with it's given power. handles almost like a wrx as it's already a track ready car.

Weaknesses

Plastic fender will blur out after some time. gotta take good care of it. Slightly higher CG. gotta lower it for even better handling. CNC doesnt bring in manual CVR. need to go to PI for a manual CVR, and will cost 10k more.(that is when the time i bought mine)

The Review

Every Version R driver will know this car rocks! 1.5L engine turbo charges. powerful engine, compact car, rare and no one will be able to wannabe it. Many are selling it to change to a more powerful or bigger car for family, while you will not see anyone changing to to a car as of same category like SSS or Fit. I can say no body regret buying the COLT Version R. it's the best among almost all compact car with it's attractive power, handling and price and look. Definitely cherish it till 10yrs.

The Review

Mitsubish as a brand has been rather quiet in recent year. So much so that I can't remember the last car they made. Pardon my lack of interest in the lancer/evo bloodline, linage or whatchamight call that. But I just noticed the Colt and I think it looks pretty spiffy. It kinda looks like a red and black version of Sonic the Hedgehog. I've heard from my male friends that it's a magnet for modifications but I think that's fine. If anything it adds to it's menacing aura. Recently, I got to hitch a ride (yes I hitch rides from friends whenever I can) on a colt. It definitely feels a whole lot sportier than the carpark favourite Honda Jazz. It has more urge and move. The interior feels suitably comfortable but not lavish. Hmmm, I might consider upgrading to something, more, performance oriented in the future.
