The enjoyment of the interior is orgasmic with ample space front and back for driver and passengers. Ride is quite low which makes getting in somewhat awkward. For those who are accustomed to sports car entry and exit will feel just at home. Enormous space in the boot for the Sportswagon. If you are looking for a car that drives like a flat line everyday, this car is not for you as she is full of character. That is part of the Alfa experience. Armed with short gear ratio on 1-2-3, sports mode, paddle shifts, 4 pot mono block brakes, electronic LSD, twin phase Jet trust Stoichiometric engine, the spirited drives are undeniably satisfying. On leisure drives, 4th, 5th, 6th gear are frugal on FC. Suspension is comfortable most of the time. At low speeds, you can feel the gear shifts and it feels like you are in a manual transmission car. The 159 quality and reliability improvements opened up a whole new page in Alfa’s car history. Not sure if this will be a new era to stay. Quality is close to main stream if not main stream. Reliability is not fantastic but very much better and acceptable. All this are at the cost of the charismatic traits of an Alfa which many die hard Alfa fans are missing.
