The front fender for the compact sedan is actually made of plastic which can easily snap back into shape
Renault’s previous compact sedan, the Fluence, left much to be desired stying-wise. The Fluence was basically built on Renault’s compact ‘C’ platform, and built by Samsung Motors.
The return of the Megane Sedan marks a departure from predictable styling, and in with a greater effort to make this car something very appealing.
Did Renault get the formula right? Clifford Chow takes the Megane Sedan for a spin to find out.
Exterior
A new radically-designed C-shaped headlamp cluster, containing daytime running lights, flanks a bold front grille displaying a fat, instantly recognisable Renault logo. Plenty of attention has been given to the nose, with chrome accenting which surrounds the foglamps, look again, and you’d even notice an additional cut made below the foglamp assembly. Little details which makes this car that little bit more special. Side styling has also been given a generous few strokes from the designer’s pen. Door sculpting is pretty with a wedge-shaped bit of pressed metal forming near the base, working inward the curvature of the doors, and creating a more coupe-like look.
The front fender for the compact sedan is actually made of plastic which can easily snap back into shape - a wise choice, since after all, this is a family car, and you may experience the occasional booboo in the form of a shopping trolley knocking into you or just plain, miscalculation of your turn circle.
As with the front fender, part of the boot lid is also plastic, just in-case of unwanted light impacts. Rear tail lamp styling is equally radical, with plenty of red colour flowing into the middle of the boot lid.
Our test car was the higher end Privilege variant, which came equipped with very attractive 17” ‘Exception’ rims, and a blacked-out roof hiding a massive tilt and slide sunroof.
Prompt and Fast. Service officer Muhd Yazid was very helpful in guiding the sales, and when urgent assistance is required! Kudos to officer for being able to address all queries.

Good response and support from Angie at One Shift when I wanted to sell off my old Camry which was due to be scrapped in early February. Would recommend this platform for those wanting to buy or sell their cars.
