Nissan Qashqai 2.0L Premium Review
Of Sound Values

the new front grille features a bolder “V” design.

Nissan’s most popular model receives a mid-life facelift, and we liked how effort had been made to make one of the most liked SUVs on our roads even more appealing.

We got to test the top-of-the-line 2.0 litre Premium model, and there are a few noteworthy improvements, which adds to the appeal of this second generation family workhorse.

There is no mistaking the silhouette the compact SUV cuts, but the nose has been redesigned, with a set of sleek “Boomerang” styled daytime running lights, integrated into the adaptive headlamps; where the pre-facelifted car carried a smaller LED assembly, while the new front grille features a bolder “V” design.

Nissan had also taken away some “shape confusion’ by restyling its fog lamps, replacing the silver-rimmed elliptical units for more angular ones which sit in the lip of the front bumper. A faux air intake under the headlamps hides just some of the “eyes” of the car which form part of Nissan’s Intelligent Mobility Technologies.

In the rear, a new set of tail lamps, with a red LED strip forming the brake lights replace the conventional looking tail lamp cluster.

Also new to the car are a set of snazzy restyled 19” rims.
