While the side origami-like sculpting remains quite untouched, the compact Lexus carries well-thought proportions
The Lexus NX gets a nip and tuck in a few good ways. Around four years after its launch, their current baby SUV (the word ‘current’ is a hint for something new coming up), gets some well-needed revised styling.
Featuring larger sweeping daytime running lights, and new internals for its headlamps for our “Sports” trim model, while the spindle grille gets pinched a little more in the middle. A new bumper delivering more aggression in the rear mirrors of those you tail on the overtaking lane… roar!
Mirroring its styling cues, the rear also gets longer tail lamps, replacing the mildly-styled pre-facelifted NX. While the side origami-like sculpting remains quite untouched, the compact Lexus carries well-thought proportions.
And since larger numbers appear to be better, Lexus has also done away with the 200t model badging, and the car is now badged as a NX300. So yes… a turbocharged 2.0 delivering similar performance to a naturally aspirated 3.0.
Inside
Notable cabin updates includes a larger 10.3-inch infotainment screen, an enlarged touchpad for easier operation, and a larger QI compatible mobile device charging dock.
The rest of the cabin has been largely un-touched, and the seats, front (electric) and rear are supportive, with our F Sport trim test car gets a little more street cred with red leather seats. Passenger accommodation for rear passengers is decent, and taller passengers will be pleased to know that the roofline tapers down mostly after the rear door, and the door aperture is quite large.
Its 475 litre boot may not be the largest, but it is definitely practical with the introduction of the now-common kick-open function.
Prompt and Fast. Service officer Muhd Yazid was very helpful in guiding the sales, and when urgent assistance is required! Kudos to officer for being able to address all queries.

Good response and support from Angie at One Shift when I wanted to sell off my old Camry which was due to be scrapped in early February. Would recommend this platform for those wanting to buy or sell their cars.
