Introduction, Exterior

Audi has always had a penchant for being a crowd pleaser with a model suited to each and everyone’s individual needs. With that many models, Audi segregates the performance levels to their ‘A’, ‘S’ and ‘RS’ models.

In the ‘A’, you buy into the quality interior and prestige of the Audi brand and get a slight preview of the dynamic capability of Audi’s chassis and All Wheel Drive systems.

Scaling the ladder, things start to get more nutty as you enter the ‘S’ badged models that feature larger engines and a more comprehensive dynamic package.

Once you hit their flagship ‘RS’ models however, all your clichés about Germans being all too serious falls on to the wayside. No matter what their brochures say, there is nothing more bonkers than shoehorning a Lamborghini V10 5.2-litre into a large sedan and giving it two turbos for good measure. Think: Previous generation RS6 boasting 580bhp

Now that we’ve established that the Germans do know how to have fun, let’s find our way back to the latest Audi S6.

On the outside, the S6 receives some minor tweaks that belie its sporting intentions. Unlike the A6, the S6 gets a single frame grille with double chrome bars for a more distinctive expression. A nice little S6 badge next to the four rings denotes it as the more illustrious version of its A6 sibling.

Working together with the grille is the more aggressively styled front bumper with its flared edges. In the rear, the S6 gets a redesigned rear diffuser painted in Platinum Grey and quad chrome tailpipes to complete the subtle differences from the regular A6.

Good response and support from Angie at One Shift when I wanted to sell off my old Camry which was due to be scrapped in early February. Would recommend this platform for those wanting to buy or sell their cars.
