The RS4 has one of the most truly epical V8 engines ever made

While BMW has M GmBh and Mercedes-Benz has AMG, Audi has its quattro GmBh. Audi’s performance arm might not be as well known as its German counterparts and rivals, but what it offers is something equally sporty as an M or an AMG car.
One of which is the RS4. Well, you might ask why we're talking about a variant of the previous generation A4 when the new generation was just introduced here recently. But Audi has a habit of saving the best for last – hence the introduction of the RS4 at the end of the previous A4’s product life cycle.
Both the RS4 saloon and Avant are no longer in production now, so the only model you can buy new from the showroom is the Cabriolet version. Outwardly, the RS4 Cabriolet shares the same aggressive stance that both the saloon and Avant models have. To give it a further sporty feel, Audi decides to use a single frame honeycomb radiator grille and also added those proverbial large air vents to both the front and rear bumpers. At the same time, Audi widened the wheel arches on all four flanks to distinguish the RS from the “non-RS”. Also worth mentioning are the aluminium door mirrors and deep side sills. Although running on smaller 18-inch wheels, the RS4 Cabriolet doesn’t exactly look as mean as it does on the optional 19s…BUT, you still wouldn’t say that it looks tame. Under the foldable hood is the same basic cabin as other A4 Cabriolet models bar some go-faster kit - like sportier seats, a superb steering wheel, aluminium foot pedals, bespoke instruments with a built in lap timer and many more goodies. The seats might not look aggressively sporty but we like the way it hugs tightly in corners. Its steering wheel is well-sized and is such a joy to hold and look at - which is the same design that Lamborghini uses in the Gallardo anyway. For a mid-sized four seater convertible, the RS4 has more than enough legroom for rear passengers. Ok then, enough about the utility aspects and let’s finally get to the interesting stuff.
