For more than 50 years, the Jaguar E-type has been one of the most recognizable icons in automotive history. The concept however simple set the tone for Jaguar’s two seater sports cars to follow years later. Its svelte seductive body was even remarked by the Godfather of supercars, Enzo Ferrari, as ‘the most beautiful cars ever made’.
Over the years, the legacy of the E-type roadster has become something of a challenge for the Coventry manufacturer to beat. But alas, they’ve done it!

Meet the F-type, the successor to the most beautiful car ever made. And if at first you’re not floored upon meeting that curvaceous body, then you’re not as much of a car enthusiast as your mouse clicks have led you to believe.
The new car carries hints of its predecessor’s design in elements around the body. For one, the front grille is instantly linked to the older car. The design was headed by Jaguar’s design chief Ian Callum who has had a hand in every new models for the past decade. With Aston Martin and Volvo in his portfolio, you can start to see why this Jaguar looks as gorgeous as it does.
