Suzuki Solio 1.2 - Plus Review
We sold our soul for the Solio

Introduction, Exterior

Suzuki has had a long history in producing Kei cars. Kei cars are what the Japanese call small or light vehicles that not only come with smaller physical size, their carbon foot print is equally small as well. And despite their modest size, they’re tons of fun as the Suzuki Cappuccino of the 90s proves. But even the relative small size of the old Wagon R+ (fore bear of the Solio) proves useful besides being adorable enough for the missus.

The Solio isn’t shy about being called a bread van and neither should you when your friends come around. This little Japanese mini van is cute and proud of it. While the general profile hasn’t changed much since its Wagon R days (it’s still a box on wheels), the front fascia has certainly sharpened up a bit.

Gone are the numerous square edged lines that have now been replaced with large head lights that feature HID lamps as standard. The rear is represented with a simple light bar that hides rear lights.

Sold my car withing a few days. Fast process. However, be ready for dealers to slash price saying need to change tyre, need to repaint, etc during viewing.

I did receive the best quote out of 5 enquiries I sent. It was the inspection and quick deposit that sealed the deal. All in, it was a pleasant experience compared to the other merchants available. Keep up the good work!
