This year, we have taken a different approach, in order to provide a little more value to you, our readers. We have expanded our judging criteria for our cars, and have included not only vehicles that have been launched or refreshed for this model year; but have included in our selection, cars that are still current and relevant (cars which are still sold within showrooms).
While the EV has seen growing popularity here, with most of the sales going into fleet buys, it is also a signal that the automotive industry gears have started turning, in the pursuit for full-on electrification some way or another... but that will be something for the future us to witness. For now, we can begin to reap the benefits of electrical assistance, as gradually more manufactures begin to field Mild Hybrid vehicles, meaning that next year will be an interesting one!
We have put together an extensive list of cars which we have tested, digging in to how well they are built, how they tick, and how practical or justifiable they really are. All this to aid you in your next buying decision.
Simply how well is it screwed together,
and how good it looks.
How well does it drive?
Does it perform well for what it is intended for?
How much thought has gone into its practicality
or in its engineering?
