I'm having problems with Rain-X when applied to windscreen as the wipers will jerk when in use. Didn't like the sound produced and hope that the wiper motor will not be damaged due to the jerking.

lchuanglr erm.. think no point lah. think rain-x is a silicon based compound, so the juddering is due to rubber sliding over silicon. just have to wait for it to wear out.

Vlanze Have been on my stock rubber wipers and the results were the same which prompted me to switch over to silicon type. Guess the reason seems to be the rain-x...

lchuanglr sorry to hear that it doesn't help. well, just enjoy watching the water droplets roll off while it last. it'll wear out in no time lah... I wish I didn't have to apply it so often. quite troublesome.

Vlanze Update...did the following and so far so good for my wipers for 2wk+...hope it lasts. The droplets beading effects from Rainx are still there though.

- Empty my washer reservoir of Rainx-mixed...

sivashankar This car doesn't come with air-con, electric windows, power steering. Its was mend for a safe, affordable and a all weather transport. Why don't anyone bring TATA to SG?

ifconfig personally, the features is more important.. must be able to announce on-time. good that the maps are using mapkings standards (can upload updates yourself, no need to go back the dealers)
