I recently fitted a Hurricane filter on my new Civic 1.6Vti with the hope of not only improving torque but also reduction in FC.

My 2 plus old civic only gets an average FC of 10 km/l as my trip...

overheated to mi too... its all depends on ur right foot... haha... believe it or not... my 92" civic's FC is like 8km/l? the most 9km/l? shocked? like wat they said...

more power = more FC...

kkchai Not mean to damage or pin point any of the filter company. Last Saturday went to the SIN at Expo, they demonstrated that Hurricane air filter is less restrictive to air but also to enviroment dirt ...

vinceyeo So far after 3 full tanks in Singapore (I did not count the 4 tanks in Malaysia as it was not feasible to calculate those) with the filter I see very minimum improvement in FC (as expected about 5%...

Go to Fong Kim/Racetech at Ubi...they got the tein springs.....

krazyguy_08 not sure for altis but went to ask for my fit.. cost around $350 include installation... not advisable to change to lowering spring unless u have limited budget..2 cents of thought..

Evan To be safe go for the same (related) brand for lowering springs eg. go STI for your wrx, go suzuki sports one if you're driving a SS/Ignis

bluecity cleaning the blade... well, i tried that.. if the blades are too clean, it will judder. if i leave it dirty.. it wipe smoothly.. but having some lines.

neutral Those lines are mostly due to wear and tear of the blades, caused by dirt. Occasional cleaning is good. Helps to extend the life span.

lchuanglr thanks! asking about sg parking fines, coz I have to park for 4 or 5 hrs at a stretch quite often coz of work, so coupon quite ex. I try to space them out with 10-15 mins gap in between.
