The Review

A manual car that drinks so much fuel? Ya, you have it in the Nissan Sunny. On good days, i can get 11km/L. On bad days, it can be nearer to 10km/L. All from a 1.6-litre petrol engine which produces a healthy 120bhp. The whole car will start jittering at speeds above 100km/h. This seems to be a trait as my dad has owned the same model EX Saloon before. Perhaps it's tyre choice, certainly not wheel balancing. Rear leg-room is a joke! Ingress and Egress for rear passengers frequently result in them hitting their heads at the door sills. And the manual gearbox is inaccurate and difficult to engage. However, i think it is one of the quietest cars in its class. A mitsubishi lancer is noisier and bouncy at speeds, a 323 has a super hard ride and noisy too.

Strengths

Refinement better than other cars in its class
Refined ride
Powerful Air-Conditioning

Weaknesses

Poor fuel economy
Inaccurate gearbox
Clutch heavy and too far
Poor interior space
High Speed Instability
