The Review
At first glance, the car seemed different in look than any other car. But as you looked on, the design of its exterior begins to grow on you. The interior was just fantastic, love the climate control and single dial digital display of the speedometer and tach.
This car is equiped with 6 airbags and has vehicle stability control, retractable side mirrors and a 60/40 split folding rear seats which creates a huge boot space.
The engine is a 1.5 VVT-i with excellent fuel consumption. Do wish they brought in the 1.8 version for more power.
Overall it is a great hatchback that has loads of features and is economical with a reasonable price tag too. The exterior design may need some getting used too (some may just love or hate it) but it will definately grow on you. Its a car that new young drivers will enjoy and bring friends around in. If you have to carry lots of groceries or some furniture from IKEA, the foldable seats and big boot space is an added bonus!
I will provide some more details as I use it more.

The engine is a 1.5 VVT-i, but the gear box is Super CVT-i.

I am also looking into getting a new ride. What features does the IST have? Does it have keyless engine start or keyless entry? Climate controls? I thought 1.5 is SCVTi (Super Continuously Variable Transmission-intelligent), but you mention it as a VVTi? asdzds
