The Review

Initial impression of this mid luxury triggers dismissal from the masses, recognisably by its classic '60s looks & plump shape suited to the middle aged. However, the styling grows on its owner over time, if not also accompanying class as an aristocrat's automotive like its Bentley brother (or the desire to be so). Modern electronics in cabin providing functional amenities add to the classy feel and mounted on 18" wheels, the drive is balanced with light handling on such RWD without bodyroll. Jag S model can't quite square it for buyers based on looks or performance, but will still have people (including rivals & critics) rethink "What it'll be like if i had owned one..."

Strengths

Smooth linear aceleration (without screaming beyond) 2300rpm to speed ahead; "S" power delivery available to challenge `Type Rs' drivers; distinguished from X models

Weaknesses

sensitive electronics to a fault

Nice. Ford ownership ironed out the build quality issues I presume? And yes, the Jag, ever the romantic rake. asdzds
