The Review

As we end the year, it's also a pleasant coming of term to a decade of the SLK grace lines version (R171) yet by no means it is old or outdated, notable SLK pioneered the 1st hardtop convertible and has been a unique development successful since its 2nd generation reign (2004-2011) bolstered by its klein SLR lookalike embodiment of all rounder performance: from low local insurance (under S$700 pa) to ongoing maintenance that won't incur sportscar costs and longevity of usage with lasting statistical prowess i.e. its AMG supercharged top model rivals M3 (3.2L) in its times. In fact this V6 version (post FL'07) has even better acceleration than the current heavier make of brutish looks. So, come 2014 it's not all to the scrapping graveyard but the transformer technology lives on, it's smart key remote controls the roof to the onlooker a self living life like machine.

Strengths

Good ol natural aspiring acceleration

Weaknesses

can't siesta in it
