This car is handsomely designed and has good overall proportions.
Due to its weight, the pickup is slower. It is a compromise for the safety it offers. You can feel the thickness of the steel sheets compare to the other makes.
The slower pickup has contributed positively to the ride quality (no more dizziness due to the "rocking forward and backward" due to the sudden acceleration). As a result, the ride is more composed.
The way the suspension is setup also minimise bodyroll that is quite common even in more expensive cars that I have driven.
I truly enjoy every moment in this car for the feel, comfort and security it offers.
Chevrolet Cruze is a good value for money car. Recently my cruze got into an accident and was hit by a taxi. The taxi front bumper hit right onto the driver side door and was creating a big wide dent on it. I was lucky that I was driving a Cruze and the damage is only confined to the door panel itself and the rest are still intact including myself!
You can always choose to modify your Cruze to have a better pickup and FC but of cos that is subject to risk in having your car warranty voided.
Strengths
Good value for money, safe car with Euro NCAP 5 star, comfortable and quiet.
Weaknesses
initial pickup is slow due to its weight, engine can get noisy when rev too hard, Fuel Consumption is high as compared to Jap/Korean car models.
