The Review
The 2011 Cruze improvement over the last model is primarily in the GPS/Bluetooth feature support, which I find it value for money considering the price range.
I test drove the 2009 Cruze last year. I was told the pickup is now much better as the 2011 Cruze is fitted with a new engine with bigger hp. However, I find the improvement is only marginal and the pickup concerns I have remain.
Other than that, the new features added like GPS. Bluetooth, USB/iPod connectivity is excellent and seldom available for similar priced or more expensive cars.
Strengths
Strong body, stable while cruising
Feature rich like GPS, auto-headlight, auto rainsor, USB/iPod connectivity
Just drove my friend's Cruze and I have to say the car is really good. The steering is responsive and the drive is very comfortable. The pick up is a bit slow, but that's cause the car is heavy (safety mah)
The interior is great. Got a nice refined feel. No shiny plastic anywhere. Console design looks great to. Sound system is ok. The car has a 6cd changer plus a mp3 aux cable. Boot is really spacious too. This is a good family sedan.
BUT my friend told me fuel consumption is poor.
