The Review
Handsome design, IMO. Not one that'll feel outdated after awhile.
Minimalist dashboard, futuristed iCockpit & interior have a premium feel.
Small steering wheel make it feel sportier to drive, comfy to hold. Adjust your seat properly and it won't block the dashboard.
Smooth drive and handling.
Full glass moonroof, nice view esp when it rains!
Satifactory FC despite med-heavy traffic along BtTimah Rd during weekdays, minimal hwy usage.
Automated reverse & parallel parking mode is so cool.
Taking a chance on the new Puretech model since the old 308 had issues, but so far so good, all reviews seem positive, we're loving it!
Dislike the ECO start/stop, esp in jams. Most often I'd disable it.
Design fault in rattling subframe got replaced under warranty after 8,000km, newer models shldn't be affected.
Strengths
Good pick up for a 1200cc engine. Punchy!
Blind spot detection is very useful
Huge boot space. Lugged home a 2m tall cabinet with seats folded of cos.
Weaknesses
Gears are a tad slow to kickdown, gotta learn to use brakes more to slow down from fast speed.
Slight vibration felt at extreme slow speed.
