The Review

The car is nice, big and confortable. Is just few months I own this car and overall is a very good car. The only weakness is on the petrol consumption I end doing 7Km/l that is really to high. Maybe because the car has only 2000Kms, hopefully will improve.

Strengths

Smooth, very confortable.

Weaknesses

Fuel consumption;

The Review

This is a definitely a value for money vehicle. Drive well, quiet, comfortable and it feels more than a 1.6 litres car. This car sell very well in other part of the world. It even beat the Altis in Thailand. Fuel consumption is reasonable, heavier car will drink more fuel, But the price difference more than off set it.

Strengths

Continental ride and handling Strong body, Easy to handle, comfortable cabin. Reasonably powerful engine for a saloon car.

Weaknesses

Window does not come with original UV protection film. Need to install after market solar film. (So is Toyota Altis and some other cars)

The Review

I took into consideration many factors and finally decided on this rebadged Daewoo becoz it is now under the GM wing. I also compromised on the smaller boot space for a more roomier cabin. I also took into account that a heavier car will result in heavy fuel consumption. The 4 x individual suspension system, usually available on bigger luxury cars were also a draw. However all the above simply cannot make up for what i feel now - that my car's engine leaked engine oil and smoke came out from the engine - in just under 2700kms, or under 9 weeks of just getting my brand BRAND NEW from the authorized dealer. Now, all i can do is live with a damaged good, its widely known; a car with a burnt engine is just waiting on death row. The dealer will only repair it....but what's the good in buying a repaired car, considering it was only 9 weeks old ! Emailed GM-HQ in Thailand but it appears they are simply not interested.....well, money down the drain !! Should have stuck with the more reliable Japanese make which i have used all along, cheaper too !

Strengths

Heavy, stable continental feel. more quiet than my old cars. Loved the 4 x individual suspensions system.

Weaknesses

Could have been better with stock 15" wheelset.(currently 14" only) Engine leaked and smoked only after 2700kms/2 months+ ! Rear doors were also poorly aligned. Aircon also not cold and takes long time to cool down.
