The Review

I rented this car when I was overseas and drove it for a while. Looking from the outside, sleek curves with silver linings down the windows. Nice front and back design. Interior wise, extremely spacious. Think BMW 5 series or E-Class size. Build quality is top notch and with red LED lights lighting up the interior. the cockpit is illuminated by a cool blue which isn't too glaring on the eyes when you drive in total darkness. Seats are comfortable with a adjustable roller that presses against your back. ( dunno what it is for especially when it doesn't vibrate). Adequate headroom. Engine response is crisp with enough pull for a car of this size. Overall if you ask me whether I will buy this car? Maybe yes maybe no. Yes for the fact that Volkswagon is well know for their reliability but not sure of the agent that runs it here in singapore. No because the 407 looks sleeker and sportier then the Passat and everything else is comparable. The design is a bit plain for the younger executive class.
