The Review

The Tiguan looks good both on the inside and the outside. It's low for a car of it's class and it's non-aggresive look has a certain appeal. The inside is well thought out. There are folding tables for rear passengeres and even a touch screen navigation device built into the dashboard. The boot space is a little small compared to other family cars but you can fold the rear seats down to create more space. Performance wise the car comes through. With its 2.0l turbocharged engine it's quick and has a very smooth acceleration. There isn't much body roll either and VW's 4MOTION tech ensures traction all around. However, the suspension is a little stiff. There are also lots of driving aids such as the hill climb assist and rear parking camera. The Tiguan can't compare with the Freelander off road, but it's on road performace outmatches the Landrover.

Strengths

Smooth acceleration Packed with driving aids that make life easy Corners well

Weaknesses

Stiff Suspension Boot is not spacious enough
