June’s second COE bidding exercise sees the remaining COE allocations from 2020’s bidding suspension fully distributed. This will mean that there will be lesser COEs from the month of July onward, and will likely spark an uptrend in COE prices.

Category A (cars 1,600cc and below, and have a maximum power of 130bhp),
Quota of 830 @ $47,821, down from $48,510,
Category B (cars above 1,600cc, or have more than 130bhp),
Quota of 809 @ $56,032, down from $60,109,
Commercial Vehicle Category C,
Quota of 238 @ $37,000, down from $37,002,
Motorcycle Category D,
Quota of 618 @ $8,501, up from $8,703,
Open Category E (All but motorcycles),
Quota of 265 @ $59,001, down from $61,112,
Bids can be submitted through the Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) of DBS/POSB and the Internet Banking facilities of UOB or Maybank. Do ensure that you have bank accounts with these participating banks.
The bid deposit for COEs in Categories A, B, C and E is $10,000 per bid while that for Category D is $200 per bid.
