Raymond Lai, Editor
With nearly a decade’s worth of motoring journalism experience and test driving cars, Raymond Lai is one of the most experienced and respected in the industry. If there’s a new car in town, you can be sure that he’ll be putting it through its paces sooner rather than later. He’s lost count the number of cars he’s tested each year and 2009 is no different. He’s been impressed by the quality of the cars launched this year, of which models like the Kia Cerato Forte, Volkswagen Scirocco, Audi Q5, Porsche Cayman, Nissan 370Z, Alfa Romeo MiTo and Mercedes-Benz E-Class have particularly impressed.
C.K Lim, Senior Contributor
A through and through car nut, C.K. has taken a fancy to cars for as long as he can remember, progressing from Matchbox models to actual cars. Along the way, he has also amassed an extensive knowledge on cars and motoring trivial, both of which he is putting to good use for his work and private life. Having been in the industry for the past decade, as well as having driven a considerable number of cars, he does know a thing or two on what he is talking or writing about. He goes around town (and race circuits) in his trusty 11-year-old set of wheels. His most memorable motoring experience is that of his recent trip to a soaking wet Nurburgring Nordscheife in an old Alfa 75 - with no ABS and ESP.
Sheldon Trollope, Contributor
For the last decade, Sheldon Trollope has worked with the best automotive publications and media outlets not least of which include BBC Top Gear Singapore where he is Contributing Editor. Through Oneshift, he makes his considerable presence felt in cyberspace and brings his wealth of knowledge and experience to the COTY panel. Never one to turn down an opportunity to drive anything with four wheels, Sheldon has reviewed just about every new car that has been launched over the last 10 years and isn't afraid to tell it like it is. Unlike some armchair critics, Sheldon's opinion comes from a background of what he has driven rather than what he has read.
Yang, Contributor/Photographer
Yang might be the oldest of us among here but he certainly has the youngest heart. He has spent much of his life test driving cars, writing about them and last but not least, taking photos of them. In fact, he spends more time doing photography more than writing these days – taking photos of cars, events, other subject matter and even weddings. When not holding his camera or zipping around in test drive cars, he zooms around the neighbourhood in his old school 'ah beng' car.
