The honour of receiving the coveted title of category winner is granted through rigorous testing and scoring of each and every one of the nominees; 2015 is no different.

This year, a total of 14 categories were selected based on body type or function that best represents the manufacturer’s intention. Having tested over 80 cars throughout the course of 2015, an important criterion for selection to ensure relevance and fairness had to be set during nominee selection – the cars had to be launched locally by authorised distributors in 2015.

Luxury Executive Sedan – Lexus ES Hybrid
Flagship Sedan – BMW 740Li
Hatchback – Mazda 2
Premium Hatchback – BMW 116d
SUV – BMW X1
Premium SUV – Audi Q7
MPV – Toyota Vellfire
Cabriolet – Porsche Boxster GTS
Compact Coupe – Audi TT
Coupe – Lexus RC 350 F Sport
High Performance Car – Audi RS 6 Avant
Supercar – McLaren 675LT

And the winner of the overall title for Oneshift Car of the Year 2015 is the BMW 740Li!
