These answers can be found on your vehicle’s log card, which is a document from the Land Transport Authority (LTA) that files your vehicle’s details. Physical log cards were issued until 2006, which might not be a bad thing after all as we can now locate our car’s particulars online, so long as we have our Singpass login details ready. Let’s run through the process, step-by-step. *This was conducted on a Safari browser, but will work on any updated browsers.

1) Log in to OneMotoring’s website, and log in with your Singpass by clicking “for individual users” on the top right of the screen, assuming that the vehicle is registered as a personal vehicle. Click “for business users” for commercially-registered vehicles.

2) Prepare your mobile phone if you intend to log in to Singpass with a QR code. Or you can log in via your password, but do prepare your Singpass ID and password. If you have not downloaded the Singpass app on your phone, you can download them here, for Android users, and for iOS (iPhone) users.

3) Once you have signed in, you will be introduced to a personalised dashboard. Click “Go to Vehicle Hub” on the left side of the page.

4) Next, click “Enquire & Print Vehicle Registration Details”. If there is a dropdown menu, select the vehicle that you want to enquire about. And there you have it!

Although we dug up a 5 year-old YouTube video from OneMotoring’s eService channel that has been unlisted, it is still useful to identify information that you can obtain from a vehicle’s log card.

Your vehicle’s log card that can be printed if required. These details will be essential if you intend to sell or transfer ownership of your vehicle, or when you want to register for a Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP) before driving to Malaysia.

Good luck and drive safe!
