Audi A4 1.8 TFSI mu Attraction Review: Entree level

Talk sure is cheap, but the A4 1.8 TFSI sure isn't. In fact, it shows another side of Audi - their ability to pack so much goods and make even this "entry-level" variant feel premium...

The base 1.8 TFSI here is almost $50k less than the 3.2 quattro version but it certainly doesn’t feel $50k slower or cheaper. It offers really good performance from a relatively small engine – so much so that it will obliterate its closest German competitors in terms of pace. The overall dynamics aren’t the best around but is engaging and rewarding enough. And to top it all off, the overall build quality is top notch stuff, unmatched by any model in the class.

Hence, the A4 1.8TFSI represents good value for money thanks to the long list of standard equipment, Audi Drive Select included. We did not drive the A4 1.8TFSI next to its competitors, but we can tell you that the Audi could well be the most complete car in its class for now.
