With up to 380 litres of luggage space, the A5 Cabriolet offers one of the biggest trunk spaces among its competitors thanks to its compact cloth hood. The boot is indeed well shaped and spacious - golf bags can easily be gobbled up in here. Moreover the rear seat backs can easily be folded down with a pull of a lever in the boot, transforming boot volume to 750 litres if required.

Even though it's a base model, the A5 Cabriolet 2.0 TFSI quattro is generously equipped with standard kit including HID headlamps, Audi's Symphony CD stereo system, cruise control, 19-inch alloys, ESP and so on.

At just over $200k, the A5 Cabriolet is significantly more affordable than its closest rival - the retractable hardtop BMW 325i Convertible. The Audi lacks the BMW's dynamism, folding metal hard top and six-cylinder smoothness but it more than makes it up with sweet, gorgeous looks, quality interior, generous kit and the performance and efficiency of the drive train.
