One of the most stylish small cars around tears off its roof for those who love to bask in the tropical sunshine.

What we like:
pros
Unmistakable Italian style and flair inside and out
pros
peppy character
What we dislike:
cons
High price to pay for such a tiny car
cons
not as rewarding to drive as a Mini
cons
wind buffeting when the roof is down

The 500C is well specified with kit that you wouldn't expect in a small city car. This includes seven airbags, ESP, a factory radio with Bluetooth technology and a Blue&Me handsfree system among other stuff. The fabric roof can be ordered in red or blue for a stunning combination with the equally bright exterior colour choices. Customisation has always been part of the 500 portfolio and the 500C is no different.

Coming in at over $110k, the 500C is not an affordable people's car but an expensive lifestyle accessory. It's not a car for males with macho personality or big egos too as the 500C is more inclined to being more feminine in nature. Last but not least, the targa style roof means it'll never feel as ‘topless' as a Mini Cabriolet - the latter is our preferred choice of a small, cute convertible.
