Hyundai Sonata 2.0 GLS Review: Summer sonata

Ok, so we've been seeing so many of them plying our roads as cabs. But why should the Hyundai Sonata be shunned when it provides good value motoring for buyers who want a big car without the big price tag? The recent facelift somehow freshens things up too...

What we like:
pros
Roomy interior
pros
comfortable drive
pros
attractive price tag. Subtle exterior changes gives off a cleaner image too.
What we dislike:
cons
Outdated 4-speed autobox could be a bane for some
cons
boot space not exactly class-leading.

What we have here is a quiet, comfortable cruiser. It loves to be driven at a leisurely pace, and doesn't want the driver to subject it to strenuous workouts.

The real issue with the Sonata is with its taxi image. If you can get past the stereotype and are the type of driver who's happy to drive in an unhurried manner, you might discover the Sonata to be the competent, large family sedan you've been looking for.
