What we like:
pros
It's a very safe car and the engine delivers strong mid-range performance. Car gets plenty of looks too
pros
especially in this colour.
What we dislike:
cons
Quirkiness can't make up for its age
cons
interior doesn't live up to the car's sticker price
cons
cramped rear seats.

Despite having gone through several facelifts, the 9-3 Convertible just can't get around its age.

Now we're perfectly willing to accept the exterior for what it is, but we just can't get past the dated and not exactly well put-together interior here. You'd expect more, especially from a car costing this much.

But it does have its good points - it's a safe car with a quirky character that's suited for long distance cruising. That bright yellow paint job, particularly, should perk up anyone who's feeling gloomy because of the weather...
