The Legacy GT's closest rival is probably the Mazda6. It isn't as pretty as the Mazda but the latter can't match the GT for outright pace. aYou probably won't get more power in a practical and sizeable four-door saloon for the GT's price. Moreover, the subaru is generously equipped with standard kit like cruise control, factory-fitted stereo, trip computer and so on.

Just like its predecessors, the latest turbocharged Legacy’s main draw is its price. At $117,000, I can’t think of any other practical four-door saloon out there that offers so much performance for so little. Sure, the Legacy GT has gone a tad ‘soft’ to widen its appeal but that’s a really small compromise in return for a more all-rounded package.
