The yellow Proton Satria safety car drifted by, sending dust clouds flying into unlucky bystanders and photographers who were there to attend the Malaysian Rally stage of the Asia Pacific Rally Championship, held in the palm plantations of Bandar Tenggara in Johor. From here, the next twelve cars to race past would all be Group N rally cars.

Motor Image Rally Team’s driver, Cody Crocker, has been dominating this year’s championships with four wins out of the first five stages, leading the competition with 64 points while MRF Tyres Rally Team’s Japanese driver, Katsuhiko Taguchi, follows behind with 36 points.
