Citroen DS3 Cabriolet

When: Fourth quarter

The futuristic Citroen DS3 will get a soft-top – literally. You see, only the roof will fold back, leaving the door-frame, B- and C-pillars in tact. The French brand boldly says it wants to take on the MINI Cabriolet and Fiat 500C, and even the highly focused Mazda MX5!

Lexus RC Coupe

When: Fourth quarter

Making its debut at the Tokyo Motor Show last year, the RC Coupe is an all-new coupe from Lexus. It sports sharp angular lines and the spindle front grille – in line with the latest Lexus design language. The coupe will be powered by a 3.5-litre engine or a 2.5-litre hybrid system.

Audi S3 Sedan

When: Fourth quarter

For those wanting more poke from their A3 sedan, they should wait for the S3 version that will be out later in the year. It will be powered by a 2-litre TFSI engine that puts out 300 bhp and 380Nm of torque – enough to send it to 100km/h in just 4.9 seconds. Yet, it would return 6.9 litres of fuel per 100km on the fuel consumption front.

BMW M4

When: late 2014

The fire-breathing 4-series is expected to arrive late in the year and will be the first 4er in the M stable. It will be virtually identical to the M3 that will be launched around the same time, just sans two doors. For the purist, M’s decision to introduce a turbocharged inline-six may be devastating news, but it is able to put out 431 bhp and 550 NM of torque – both up from the outgoing V8 engine.

Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe

When: late 2014

Mercedes-Benz will bid farewell to the CL-Class, replacing it with the S-Class Coupe – a name that hasn’t been seen since 1991. The two-door grand tourer is still in its concept phase, but will be unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show in January.
