In Singapore, the new Audi A4 is being introduced with a choice of two variants – a four-cylinder, 160bhp front-wheel driven 1.8 TFSI 8-speed multitronic, and a six-cylinder, 265bhp four-wheel driven 3.2 TFSI 6-speed tiptronic. Both promises much better fuel economy than the previous model.

The 1.8 TFSI will be available in “Attraction” and “Ambition” packages. Highlights of the “Ambition” package, with emphasis on sportiness includes the S-line exterior kit, sport seat, 3-spoke leather trimmed multi-function sports steering wheel with gear selector, adaptive lights and 17-inch alloy wheels.

In addition to the quattro permanent four-wheel drive, the 3.2 TFSI also features some of the most advanced technology available today – “Advanced key” keyless entry system, adaptive lights, dynamic cornering light technology, navigation system, Xenon plus headlights and Bang & Olufsen sound system. To give it a distinctively sporty character, all 3.2 TFSI version will come fitted with the S-line package.

Pricing wise, the 1.8 TFSI “Attraction” package is priced at $139,000, while the “Ambition” package is at $149,000. The top-end 3.2 TFSI quattro on the other hand, retails at $188,000.
