Track 'R' Us
Been wanting to drive your car on the track? Before you do so, you might want to read C.K's fuss-free, easy to understand driving guide...

3) Ensure that your engine has sufficient engine oil, and all its filters and belts are in good condition. During the track day, pay particular attention to the oil level, keeping it close to or at (but never beyond) the maximum level as indicated on your engine oil dipstick. It would be a good idea to bring along some spare engine oil for the track day too, as it is not unusual for an engine to "consume" some oil.
4) Components of both the suspension and the steering must be in good working order. Not only will worn or faulty parts affect the handling of your car, they might even result in an unfortunate mishap should they fail completely.
5) Bodywork should be in good order, meaning that all components such as bumpers, side skirts and GT wings, should be securely affixed to the car body.
6) All loose items within the cabin, as well as the boot of the car should either be removed or secured down. Both the longitudinal and lateral movements of the car will be much greater on track than on the road, and therefore all loose items can become bothersome hindrances or worse, lethal projectiles.
7) Some recommended items to have with you on a track day are a simple tool kit, in-car fire extinguisher and spare fluid (such as brake fluid, coolant, clutch fluid and so on).

Now that I've laid down the checklist, I hope you have an idea of what to expect, and the preparations prior to hitting the race track. And remember - safety always comes first. So, get comfortable with your driving style, understand your car's characteristics while on the track, and enjoy your track day!
