2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo PRO And Lamborghini Cup Champions Crowned In Malaysia

SJM Theodore Racing’s Charles Leong and Alex Denning were crowned 2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia PRO champions at Sepang, wrapping up the title with a round to spare. Teammate Supachai Weeraborwornpong also sealed his fourth Lamborghini Cup crown, while the team secured the overall championship. Leong and Denning claimed their sixth PRO victory in race one before confirming the title with second place in race two, won by Singaporean Ethan Brown of Leipert Motorsport.

Race one saw Chris van der Drift and Todd Kingsford secure the PRO-AM win and finish second overall, with Peter Li Zhicong taking third in PRO. Haziq and Hairie Oh triumphed in AM, while Supachai Weeraborwornpong scored his fifth Lamborghini Cup victory.

In race two, van der Drift and Kingsford repeated their PRO-AM success with third overall, behind Ethan Brown and champions Leong and Denning. Azman and Carde claimed third in PRO, while Bryce Fullwood and Zhou Bihuang impressed with second in PRO-AM ahead of Lu Zhiwei and Ling Kang.

In race two, Suttiluck Buncharoen recovered from an early spin to take the AM win, followed by Abdullah/Fitramadhan in second and Haziq/Aaron Lim in third after overcoming mid-race issues. Supachai Weeraborwornpong clinched the Lamborghini Cup title with another victory, ahead of Prabakaran/Takei and solo driver Dr. Ma Chi Min.

The season now moves to Misano, Italy, on 6 to 7 November for the final round, with Liu Kaishun/Cao Qikuan leading PRO-AM and Buncharoen 15 points clear in AM.

The 2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia heads to Italy’s Misano World Circuit on 6 to 7 November for its final round, with the PRO-AM and AM titles still to be decided. Climax Racing’s Liu Kaishun and Cao Qikuan lead PRO-AM, while Buncharoen carries a 15-point advantage over Haziq and Hairie Oh in AM.

The season will wrap up with the Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Final on 8 to 9 November, where Asia’s contenders face competitors from North America and Europe.
