6.2-litre V8-Powered Corvette Stingray Arrives In Singapore

The Corvette nameplate needs no introduction. Etched into storylines of Hollywood blockbusters, they’ve been used as party pieces over the decades. Apollo 13, Transformers, Batman - these magic moments serve to preserve the legacy of the brand over 70 years. And now in Singapore, we have a chance to witness it roam local tarmac. In a period where piston-powered days are numbered, arrival of a brand new V8 Corvette Stingray here can only be treated as extremely refreshing news.

Full-on racing pedigree

For over 70 years, the Corvette has embodied American performance and racing excellence, with victories at Le Mans, Daytona and Sebring. Celebrated worldwide for its speed and innovation, the iconic sports car now makes its debut in Singapore, marking a new chapter in its legacy.

Century sprints in 2.9 seconds

Its mid-engined 6.2-litre V8 churns out 495hp, which helps it accelerate from 0 - 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, up to a top speed of 312 km/h. Standard features include the Z51 Performance Package with track-tuned suspension, performance exhaust, larger brakes and high-performance tyres. A lightweight glass rear hatch highlights the engine while helping with heat dissipation, and the built-in Performance Data Recorder offers advanced driving analysis for both track and road.

Inspired by fighter jets

The Corvette Stingray’s design draws inspiration from fighter jets and Formula One, featuring a canopy-forward stance and aerodynamic curves that highlight its performance intent. Its low, wide profile enhances high-speed stability.

Hand-stitched leather trim

It combines luxury and practicality with hand-stitched leather trim, stainless steel Bose speaker grilles and dual trunks that can fit luggage or two golf bags. It’s also equipped with front-facing cameras and a suspension lift for added ground clearance.

Where can I view it?
