AION UT Urban Crossover Starts From S$144,988

GAC AION has launched the AION UT in Singapore, a new urban electric crossover positioned as an accessible, efficient and well-equipped EV for city use. Built on GAC AION’s dedicated electric platform and using the Magazine Battery 2.0, it focuses on safety, smart technology and everyday practicality. Two variants are available, UT and UT Premium, aimed at first-time EV buyers, young families and urban commuters.

The AION UT features a youthful, modern design with European influence, characterised by smooth lines, flush door handles and distinctive LED lighting. Despite its compact exterior, a long 2,750 mm wheelbase allows for a spacious and comfortable cabin suited to daily driving.

Prices start from S$144,988 for the AION UT and S$148,988 for the UT Premium, with a limited-time S$3,000 cash discount offered at the Singapore Motorshow 2026.

Both variants use a 100 kW electric motor. The UT Premium delivers 210 Nm of torque and reaches 0 - 100 km/h in 10 seconds, while the UT produces 145 Nm and does so in 12 seconds. Driving range is rated at up to 410 km WLTP for the Premium and 335 km for the standard UT, with fast charging from 30 to 80 percent taking 24 minutes. One-pedal driving and vehicle-to-load power output are standard.

Measuring 4,270 mm long and seating five adults, the AION UT offers a practical interior with split-fold rear seats and thoughtful packaging. The Premium adds a panoramic glass roof and synthetic leather upholstery. Inside, a 14.6-inch central touchscreen and 8.8-inch digital display support features such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, voice control, automatic air-conditioning with rear vents and connected services, with wireless charging included on the Premium.

Safety is comprehensive across both variants, with six airbags, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, traffic jam assist, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control and hill hold control all fitted as standard.
