All COE Premiums Fall Except For Cat A, In First Bidding Exercise of December 2023
Cat A premium climbs to S$88k, while Cat B and E COEs hover at the S$130k mark.
The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at S$88,020, an increase of S$3,019 from the previous tender.
Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended lower at S$130,100, a decrease of S$5,236 from the previous result.
COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, decreased by S$2,888 to S$71,001.
In the motorcycle category, the premium experienced a decrease of S$143, to S$9,858.
In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums decreased by S$1,614, to S$133,388.
