Aston Martin Announces Breitling As Official Watch Partner
First Aston Martin timepiece born from this collaboration will be announced this year.

Breitling has been appointed Official Watch Partner of Aston Martin, uniting two brands bound by a shared obsession with speed and precision craftsmanship. The partnership rekindles a historic relationship spanning more than a century, and will extend across design, engineering, and performance - culminating in their first co-created timepiece arriving in Q3 2026.

Their parallels trace back to motoring’s earliest days. In 1907, Léon Breitling introduced the Vitesse - French for “speed” - the first chronograph able to measure up to 250 miles or kilometres per hour, so precise it was used by Swiss police to issue early speeding tickets. Around the same time in England, Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford proved their hand-built sports car in a hill climb at Aston Hill - a win that gave Aston Martin its name.

By the 1960s, both marques had become symbols of style and engineering. Willy Breitling’s Top Time chronograph captured a new generation’s spirit, famously appearing on Sean Connery’s wrist in Thunderball (1965) as Bond’s first Q-modified gadget watch. Aston Martin’s DB5 - debuting in Goldfinger (1964) and returning in Thunderball - achieved equal fame on four wheels, together defining Bond’s world of sophistication, speed, and high-tech intrigue.
