BMW 1 Series Coupe!
Well alright, I admit that we won't be getting this variant of BMWs (yet, we hope) but in one of Munich's worst attempts to keep secrects, we found out that this coupe is indeed official, and will start selling in Europe and America very soon.
This is exciting.
Why?
Think of the BMW 2002, a car that could be chucked and bullied at the whims and fancies of the (skilled) driver, and led the auto maker to strive for the perfect sports sedan.
There will be the 128i and the 135i. The former gets the same engine as the 328i and 528i, while the 135i, 3 litre twin-turbo beast will still be good for 300 horsepower and almost 400nm worth of torque.
Either choice comes with a six-speed manual or optional six-speed automatic transmission.
We estimate the century dash in less than 5 seconds for the 135i, this with a ton of options included, with plans of including an M-Sport package standard.
For now, we can only wait and hope!
