BMW tops customer complaints list

You’d expect that Volkswagen would be #1 when it comes to customer dissatisfaction – afterall, this was the firm that was caught with an emissions defeat device that has affected a significant chunk of VW owners all around the world. However, that certainly isn’t the case, for the company with the most customer complaints about defective products, is BMW. In a 12 month period, from the 30th of April in 2015 to the same time in 2016, BMW has received the most complaints, 9 of them, by the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE). VW comes in second, with 5 complaints, and then came Mercedes and Toyota. Mazda rounds up the top 5. For these brands, the complaints made weren’t directed at the car maker, but with their authorised agents.
