Borneo Motors Singapore Reveals New bZ4X

Toyota has launched the All-New bZ4X BEV, developed around its core strengths of reliability, efficiency and practicality.

Drawing on decades of electrification experience - including the world’s first mass-produced hybrid - Toyota continues to pursue a multi-pathway approach to carbon neutrality. The bZ4X brings that know-how into a fully electric SUV built for everyday use. Ownership is backed by Borneo Motors Singapore’s aftersales support, service network, warranty and customer care.

Energy consumption is rated at 16.3 kWh/100 km, with an estimated range of up to 478 km. DC fast charging of up to 150 kW enables a 10 to 80% charge in 28 minutes, while 22 kW AC charging can complete a full charge in about 3.5 hours. The motor produces 167 kW (223 hp) and 268 Nm, with 0 - 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds.

Exterior design features Toyota’s hammerhead front, full-length LED DRLs, segmented headlamps, gloss black cladding, 20-inch wheels, and a panoramic roof. Aerodynamic add-ons - including roof and rear spoilers plus a diffuser - help stability and cabin refinement.

Inside, the cabin includes regenerative braking paddle shifters, a 7-inch digital cluster, and a 14-inch touchscreen. Dual-zone climate control, heated and ventilated front seats, wireless chargers, USB ports, ambient lighting, and 452 litres of boot space add comfort and usability.

Built on the e-TNGA dedicated BEV platform, the bZ4X uses a rigid body structure and under-floor battery placement to improve balance and ride comfort.

Safety includes reinforced battery protection, a 5-star Euro NCAP rating, and Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 with Pre-Collision System, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitoring, Safe Exit Assist, Auto Parking and a Panoramic View Monitor.

Ownership coverage includes a 10-year battery warranty, 10-year servicing, and 10-year roadside assistance. A two-year Paint Protection Plus programme and regular inspection check-ins are also included, with most servicing completed within 60 minutes.

Test drives are available at Toyota showrooms in Singapore, with preferential financing for existing Borneo Motors customers.
