Carro is Dongfeng’s newest authorised dealer in Singapore and Malaysia

Carro has been appointed an authorised dealer for Dongfeng Motor Corporation, marking the partnership with the opening of two exclusive showrooms in Singapore and Malaysia.

The showrooms, located at Midview City and PJ Midtown, will retail several models including the Dongfeng VIGO, Dongfeng 007 and Dongfeng BOX. With the addition of Dongfeng, Carro now represents two automotive brands, the other being Chinese electric vehicle marque Zeekr, as the company expands its strategy of offering new cars alongside its used-car marketplace.

The appointment comes through a partnership with Volt Auto, the sole distributor of Dongfeng vehicles in Singapore. Both companies say the collaboration will leverage Carro’s regional marketplace and customer relationship management ecosystem to offer customers more competitive trade-in options, as well as integrated financing and insurance solutions.

According to Carro, all Dongfeng vehicles sold through its showrooms will come with an authorised dealer warranty, along with the company’s in-house financing and insurance packages.

Volt Auto founder and managing director, Soh Ming, said the partnership would help accelerate Dongfeng’s growth in Singapore and Malaysia by improving trade-in outcomes and streamlining the ownership experience.

Carro also plans to expand its Dongfeng retail footprint in 2026, including the launch of a 3S showroom offering sales, servicing and aftersales support.
