Cat A & B COEs Down During Second September Bidding Exercise.
This afternoon saw 4,355 successful bids out of a total of 5,934 received during the second bidding exercise of September for Certificates of Entitlement (COEs).
Quota of 2,008 @ $50,000, down from $51,506
Quota of 1,338 @ $55,501, down from $57,002
Quota of 177 @ $49,890, up from $49,801
Quota of 403 @ $6,501, up from $6,452,
Quota of 429 @ $55,201, down from $56,889
As with the previous bidding exercise, the trend in the low number of COEs offered, are due to owners choosing to keep their cars longer.
Bids can be submitted through the Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) of DBS/POSB, the Internet Banking facility of UOB, or via the OCBC phone banking services.
The bid deposit for COEs in Categories A, B, C and E is $10,000 per bid while that for Category D is $200 per bid.
