Cat B and E COE Premiums Break Records In First Bidding Exercise of October 2023
More than 150 grand per pop for Open Category!
The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at S$104,000, a decrease of S$1,000 from the previous tender.
Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended higher at S$146,002, an increase of S$5,113 from the previous result.
COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, increased by S$2,099 to S$85,900.
In the motorcycle category, the premium experienced an increase of S$156, to S$10,856.
In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums increased by S$7,360, to S$152,000.
