Cat B and E COE Premiums Break Records In First Bidding Exercise of September 2023

The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at S$101,000, an increase of S$1,000 from the previous tender.
Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended higher at S$134,889, an increase of S$4,999 from the previous result.
COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, increased by S$88 to S$82,889.
In the motorcycle category, the premium experienced a decrease of S$501, to S$10,901.
In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums increased by S$6,000, to S$137,000.
