Check Out The Stunning CONCEPT AMG GT XX And New CLA In Singapore

Mercedes-Benz Singapore opens 2026 with a major showcase at the Singapore Motorshow. Leading the display is the CONCEPT AMG GT XX, fresh from a world record-breaking endurance run in Italy. The prototype will be shown in its authentic post-test condition, offering visitors a rare and unfiltered look at the future of electric performance and Mercedes-Benz’s progressive design direction.

Built on the upcoming high-performance AMG.EA electric architecture, the CONCEPT AMG GT XX captured global attention after setting 25 long-distance records. In an extreme endurance test at Italy’s Nardò test track, the car covered 40,075 km in under eight days, equivalent to driving around the Earth. It also achieved the longest distance ever covered by an electric vehicle in 24 hours, travelling 5,479 km at an average speed of 300 km/h, surpassing the previous record by 38%.

Powered by three axial-flux motors and a directly cooled high-performance battery, the concept also sets new benchmarks in charging, with an average charging power of over 850 kW. The GT XX previews a future four-door Mercedes-AMG electric sports car and the next generation of high-performance EVs.

Singapore Motorshow also marks the official local debut of the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA, the most intelligent Mercedes-Benz ever built and the first model to run entirely on the in-house developed Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS). Designed for the electric age, the new CLA offers more space, refinement, comfort and efficiency, while MB.OS enables over-the-air updates, seamless connectivity and a highly personalised driving experience through an AI-powered MBUX infotainment system that integrates both Microsoft and Google technologies.

In all-electric form, the CLA sets new standards for efficiency and range, offering up to 808 km on a single charge thanks to its 800-volt architecture. It also supports ultra-fast DC charging, adding up to 325 km of range in just 10 minutes, while reducing carbon footprint by up to 40% across the value chain compared to its predecessor. Visitors can view both the all-electric CLA 250+ AMG Line Sport and the 48-volt hybrid CLA 200 AMG Line at the show, alongside other popular models including the A-Class, GLA, GLB, GLC and C-Class.

At launch, pricing for the CLA 250+ Electric AMG Line Sport starts from S$312,888, while the CLA 200 AMG Line is priced from S$304,888. A Cat A variant of the CLA is expected to follow in Q1 2026 - with Indicative pricing expected to start from S$261,888 subject to prevailing
