COE Premiums Closed Higher In 4 Out Of 5 Categories In First Bidding Exercise Of March 2023

Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums closed higher in 4 out of 5 categories in the first bidding exercise of March 2023 (8 March).

The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at S$88,000, an increase of S$1,444 from the previous tender.

Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended higher at S$115,501, an increase of S$500 from the previous result.

COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, increased by S$3,311 to S$91,101.

In the motorcycle category, premiums went up by S$201, to S$12,390.

In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums decreased by S$2,001, to S$116,000.
